Dataset characteristics
Shown here are visualisations for the study characteristics of the 10 most frequent countries and outcomes in our extracted dataset.
Country–Condition frequency
Heatmap of the number of papers for which we have extracted data, according to the country and condition(s) that they report data for. Studies that report multiple conditions contribute to the count for all of their respective conditions.
Subgroup–Condition frequency
Heatmap of the number of papers for which we have extracted data, according to the population subgroup(s) and condition(s) that they report data for. Studies that report multiple subgroups or conditions contribute to the count for all of their respective variables.
Condition severity versus lockdown stringency
Scatterplot of scaled symptom scores for outcomes measured in the papers for which we have extracted data. These scores are plotted against the OxCGRT stringency index, which approximates the extent to which a country implemented lockdown measures. The outcomes are differentiated by whether or not they provide dichotomous (yes/no) or continuous assessments of mental health disorder.
